Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern access to the LocnLock website and any related services provided by Rahman Mubarok. The desktop software is also subject to the End User License Agreement.

2. Product status

Features, availability, release timing, platform support, and pricing displayed before commercial launch may change. Planned pricing is not a binding offer; the Microsoft Store presents the final purchase terms at the point of sale.

3. Acceptable use

Users must not:

• Use LocnLock in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
• Attempt to interfere with the website, the application, or other users.
• Misrepresent affiliation with LocnLock or redistribute modified builds deceptively.
• Use the product to store information they are not authorized to possess.

4. User responsibility

Users are responsible for their master password, backups, plaintext files they export (including .env exports, saved Recovery Kit files, and exported secure files), device security, and compliance with workplace policies. The operator cannot recover a forgotten master password; the vault's Recovery Key (issued at setup and replaceable in-app) and the user's own backups are the only recovery paths, and losing all of them leaves the data unrecoverable by anyone.

5. Availability and warranties

To the extent permitted by law, pre-release materials and services are provided as available without warranties that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular security or compliance requirement.

6. Liability and governing law

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rahman Mubarok is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising from the website, the application, or these terms — including loss caused by a forgotten master password, a lost Recovery Key, missing backups, or plaintext files the user exported. Total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for LocnLock.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, and nothing reduces mandatory consumer rights you hold in the country where you live.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without prejudice to mandatory rules of the country where you live. Before any formal dispute, please raise the issue at support@locnlock.com — most problems can be resolved informally.
